Ride-share company to start operations in Prince George in June

Ride-share company Uride has started signing up drivers in Prince George to prepare for a launch in late June.

Uride was founded in Thunder Bay, Ontario with the mission of preventing impaired driving and
providing safe rides in under-served communities. The Canadian ride-share company now operates
in nine markets, including Kelowna, a recently launched city in British Columbia.

“Uride is committed to bring safe and affordable rides to small and mid-sized communities in
British Columbia and we are now recruiting drivers in Prince George to build our team for our
launch in June” said Cody Ruberto, founder of Uride.

Residents who are interested in driving with Uride must be 19+ years of age, have a clean
criminal record and own their own car to drive on the platform. Uride will be covering the
majority of startup costs including vehicle safeties, driver abstracts and background checks.
Uride currently operates in several markets across Canada and drivers can earn anywhere up to
$1500/week depending on how much they want to drive. Uride operates 24/7, and drivers have
flexibility to pick when they want to work each week.

Uride is currently offering part-time drivers a $500 sign-on bonus and weekly guarantees of $1,250 for those who decide to join Uride’s All Star Program.
