First term city councillor and former School District 57 Board Chair has announced his candidacy for a second term on Prince George city council.
“It has been an incredible honour to represent the community over the past four years as your City Councillor” says Bennett. “Prince George is home, and I’m running again because I believe in what our community can accomplish. There’s important work ahead, tackling current and future challenges, taking advantage of opportunities, and building a stronger future for everyone. I bring experienced, balanced leadership and a commitment to listening, working together, and improving quality of life for all residents.”
Bennett’s campaign, Building Community Together, is focused on three priorities designed to support long-term sustainability and ensure Prince George remains a place where families and future generations can thrive.
- Priority 1 – Strong Foundations:
- Taking care of what we already have, supporting economic growth and investment, ensuring responsible financial stewardship and making smart and sustainable decisions for the future.
- Priority 2 – Growing Together:
- Investing in neighourhoods and infrastructure, supporting housing opportunities, making sure growth is benefiting the people of Prince George.
- Priority 3 – A Safe and Thriving Prince George:
- Building safe and welcoming public spaces, supporting a vibrant downtown, investing in recreation, parts, arts, culture, and community life, and supporting families.
