It has been 14 years since professional wrestling fans packed the CN Centre, but that drought will come to an end on Friday, October 16 when Primetime Wrestling presents its biggest event to date, “Primetime Goes BigTime.”
Headlining the attraction will be WWE legend Al Snow, who brings more than four decades of experience in the wrestling industry to Prince George. Snow became one of the most recognizable personalities of WWE’s popular Attitude Era and has competed around the world during his storied career.
He won’t be the only internationally recognized wrestling star coming to town.
Former WWE tag team The Bollywood Boyz, brothers Gurv and Harv Sihra, will also be appearing. The Vancouver-based duo have wrestled around the globe and will bring their high-energy style back to their home province for the event.
Also appearing is international midget wrestling sensation Short Sleeve Sampson, whose career has taken him to major wrestling events throughout North America and around the world.
At the other end of the size spectrum, fans will get their first look inside the CN Centre at the towering Van Bruggen, who stands an imposing seven feet tall.
The October event marks professional wrestling’s return to the CN Centre for the first time in 14 years. WWE was the last wrestling organization to appear in the building, presenting an event there in 2012.
For Primetime Wrestling, moving into the CN Centre represents another milestone for an organization that has steadily built its audience in Prince George since opening its doors in 2022. Along the way, Primetime has also maintained a strong commitment to giving back to the communities that support its events.
Over the past three years, Primetime Wrestling events have contributed more than $55,000 to community causes. “Primetime Goes BigTime” will continue that tradition, with proceeds from the October 16 event supporting the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
