Carney Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Second Avenue to the River Road/First Avenue intersection today, June 30, for an emergency water utility repair. Pedestrians and cyclists will have access along the west side of Carney.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to replace water infrastructure. Southbound traffic coming across the Cameron Street Bridge will be detoured to 1st Avenue.
