A wonderful opportunity to check out many different makes and models of electric vehicles (EVs). Take a ride in an electric vehicle between Cottonwood Island Nature Park and the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum. See electric vehicles powering food trucks, coffee machines, sound systems and more.
BCIT have arranged a special opportunity for you to test drive an electric vehicle and to experience what it is like to charge up an EV.
“Events like this help people understand the true cost of ownership of an EV, what winter performance is like, discuss maintenance and repair costs, and determine whether EVs make sense for them, without having to deal with high-pressure sales people,” said Clay Howey, Project Leader of the Smart Microgrid Applied Research Team (SMART), British Columbia Institute of Technology
