Tano T’enneh Enterprises opens downtown office

Tano T’enneh Enterprises (Tano) has officially opened its downtown Prince George office on 5th Avenue.

Tano is the business and economic development arm of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation (LTFN). Tano was established a year ago to guide future business and economic development in LTFN traditional territory and generate new revenues to support the nation. Tano CEO Evan Salter joined the group soon after it was established.

Chief Dolleen Logan says the opening of the Tano Downtown Office is a significant step forward for Tano and LTFN.

“It is important that Tano conduct business at arm’s length from the Nation. Tano has its own Board of Directors who provide strategic oversight and support to the CEO. For the past year Tano has worked in the LTFN Downtown Office on Brunswick Street. The move to their new office marks the completion of getting Tano up and operating as a stand-alone company.”

Salter added “Our Tano staff now have a home in our Downtown office and will work with our existing and future business and major projects partners without impacting LTFN staff who focus on providing services and support to LTFN members from their office on Brunswick Street.

“In the past year Tano has doubled its assets and investments and this is just the start. We now have our own office, and I can assure everyone that there are many more good things to come. The future is bright for Tano, LTFN and Prince George.”
