The Prince George Public Library (PGPL), in partnership with Literacy Prince George, College of New Caledonia (CNC), and University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), is pleased to invite the community to a special screening of the multiple award-winning film documentary The Librarians.
Taking place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Lecture Theatre (Room 1-306), Prince George CNC Campus, this event brings together community and post-secondary partners to explore the vital role libraries and the people behind them play in supporting access to information, intellectual freedom, and meaningful community connection.
Event Schedule:
• Doors Open: 5:30 p.m.
• Introduction: 6:05 p.m. – 6:10 p.m.
• Film Begins: 6:15 p.m.
Parking fees will be waived from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., making it easy for attendees to join this important and timely conversation.
This event is open to all and welcomes anyone interested in the evolving role of libraries in today’s world.
