The Prince George Public Library is excited to welcome the return of StoryWalk® to Duchess Park, and this time it’s showcasing a powerful local voice.
Families strolling the park can now enjoy Outside Art by Madeline Kloepper, a thoughtful and imaginative story that invites readers to see the world through the eyes of animals observing human creativity.
Blending curiosity, humour, and heart, Outside Art explores what art might mean beyond the human experience, reminding us that creativity can take many forms, from play to memory.
“It began with wondering what animals think of us, which grew into imagining them creating art too. Being featured in StoryWalk, right in my neighbourhood, is incredibly meaningful and honestly pretty special,” said Kloepper.
StoryWalk® is a free, family-friendly experience that combines literacy, outdoor activity, and community connection, one page at a time.
Come take a walk, turn a page, and see art from a whole new perspective.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vermont. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
