Prince George Public Library officially launches new brand identity

The Prince George Public Library has launched its new brand identity, marking a significant step forward in its evolution as a modern, inclusive, and community-driven space.

Over the past several months, patrons may have noticed subtle but meaningful changes taking shape, from refreshed colours and typography to the new ‘voices’ of the Sage, the Everyman, and the Magician. At the heart of the new brand is a simple, powerful message: “Welcome.”

This message reflects the library’s commitment to being a space where everyone belongs, whether discovering new ideas, connecting with others, or accessing essential resources.

The launch is further strengthened by the introduction of a fully redesigned website, offering improved accessibility, streamlined navigation, and a more user-focused experience for the community.

“This is more than a visual update, it’s an attempt to capture who the library is and what the library means to the people in our community,” said Library Director Paul Burry. “Our new branding expresses our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and creating spaces and services that are welcoming to everyone.”

The Prince George Public Library invites the community to explore the new website and experience the refreshed brand, online and in-branch.
