Paramedics hurt after object goes through ambulance window

Prince George RCMP is currently on scene of a motor vehicle incident that took place earlier this evening, April 2, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m., on the 6000-block of First Avenue.

“The investigation is still in the early stages, but what we do know is that an object entered a passing ambulance through the window, striking one of the two paramedics. We are asking that anyone in that area who witnessed the event or who has dash camera footage capturing the incident please contact the non-emergency line to speak with police,” said Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Both paramedics were taken to the hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.
