Potato Festival hits Huble Homestead Sunday and Monday

If you love potatoes, your big day is nearly here.

Potato Festival at Huble Homestead Historic Site runs Sunday and Monday, August 31 and September 1 for a weekend of spud-related fun. Come first thing to buy heirloom potatoes and garlic from the Huble garden, and stay for tater-themed games and crafts, heritage demonstrations, cheese making, and more.

Enjoy a special starchy lunch from the barbeque, and treat yourself to candy or locally made souvenirs at 10 per cent off for the season-end General Store sale. This event marks the shift to weekends-only fall hours at Huble Homestead; visit 40km north of Prince George, just off Highway 97 on Mitchell Road.
