Prince George RCMP and ICBC have teamed up once again to bring a unique and interactive display to Prince George.
On April 26, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., come and join ICBC and RCMP representatives at their Spot the Target display inside Pine Centre Mall, where you will have the chance to see if you can “Spot the Target” hidden inside a vehicle.
This event is being run as part of Auto Crime Enforcement Month, but is also timely as Prince George RCMP reported an upward trend in theft from vehicles in the later part of March.
“This initiative is aimed at getting drivers to take a closer look at what is being left behind in their vehicle when they park it. Many of the items we leave out for our convenience become potential targets for thieves and increase the likelihood that our vehicles will be broken into for these items,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
People visiting the display will get to look inside a parked car to see how many potential “targets” they can find. Those participating in the event will have the opportunity to enter their name into a raffle to win a prize.
Come by the display and see how many targets you can spot!
