Cory “Grizz” Longley is taking another run at becoming MP for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies.
He placed second to Conservative Bob Zimmer in the 2021 election.
Longley is a Dawson Creek local with deep roots in the community and a passion for making life better in northeast B.C.
A husband, father of three, and dedicated tradesman, Grizz wears many hats — plumber, morning show host, and outspoken union activist.
Voted citizen of the year in 2007 for his caring and compassionate fundraising efforts and known for his no-nonsense attitude and progressive values, he’s committed to fighting for accessible healthcare and meaningful change across the region.
Whether he’s on the job, behind the mic, or online, Grizz speaks up for working people and stands up for you.
He is running against incumbent Zimmer; Green Party candidate Mary Forbes; and People’s. Party of Canada candidate David Watson. The Liberals have not yet named a candidate for the riding. Canadians go to the polls April 28.
