At approximately 6:45 a.m. on March 21, 2025, Prince George Fire Rescue Service crews from two firehalls responded to a reported structure fire in the 2100 block of Oak Street.
Arriving crews found a temporary carport and fence on fire. Crews were able to extinguish the fire, keeping it confined to the carport and fence.
There were no injuries to the public or firefighting crews. The damage is estimated at $10,000. The cause is currently being investigated.
