The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George board of directors accepted an offer from Recycle BC to operate an additional principal depot at Vanway Regional Transfer Station and a satellite depot at McBride Regional Transfer Station.
These new depots are expected to open early this summer and then there will be a total of five Recycle BC depots in the Regional District. The existing locations are Quinn Street Regional Recycling Depot, Valemount Regional Transfer Station and Mackenzie Regional Transfer Station.
