Prince George RCMP is investigating a report of a stolen train horn, and is asking members of the public to be on the lookout for the unique item that was stolen from the Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum during the night of February 22, 2025.
“The theft occurred during the night and was noticed the next morning when employees returned to the museum. This is a unique piece of machinery and was not a crime of opportunity, such as we would see if a car was broken into, but likely was planned in advance,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Investigators are asking for people to keep an eye out on their online marketplaces and especially websites where such items might be resold. If you see something similar, please report it to your local police or to the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.

Where is the photo of the missing item hard to recognize and help find it if don’t know what it looks like.
