Community Foundation celebrates Chuck Chin with $5,000 contribution to Legacy Fund

In celebration of Chuck Chin being named as the 2025 Jeanne Clarke Service Award recipient, the Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF) is making a contribution of $5,000 to the Chuck Chin Legacy Fund.

This donation reflects the Foundation’s commitment to recognizing individuals who leave a lasting impact on our community.

Established in 2024, the Chuck Chin Legacy Fund supports the Prince George Secondary School (PGSS) Hockey program through School District #57. The fund ensures that youth facing financial barriers have the opportunity to continue playing the game they love, fostering inclusivity and sportsmanship in our community.

“We are thrilled to make this contribution to the Chuck Chin Legacy Fund and celebrate Chuck’s incredible contributions to Prince George,” said Rae-Ann Noonan, Executive Director of PGCF. “This fund embodies his passion for supporting youth and ensuring everyone has access to sport, regardless of financial circumstances.”

Presented by the Prince George Public Library, the 40th annual Jeanne Clarke Local History Awards took place on February 23, 2025.
