WeBC is excited to announce its upcoming 30th Anniversary Celebration Event in Prince George. The event will take place on January 29, from 3-5 p.m. at the House of Ancestors “Uda Dune Baiyoh” Conference Center and Cafè.
The afternoon celebration will feature networking and appetizers, as well as a panel discussion featuring several prominent local female leaders in business, including Elizabeth Vieira-Richard, Lee Foulds, Bobbi Carpino, Sarita Parmar, and Holly Keech. The panel discussion will include topics on the history of WeBC and women’s entrepreneurship in the North, how much progress has been made, and where it’s headed in the future.
This event will honor the collective accomplishments and the incredible impact made through WeBC and its community partners over the past 30 years. Community supporters of WeBC and this event include the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures Fraser Fort George, and the Northern BC Women in Business Association. The program will also look ahead to the future of continuing to build momentum and creating new opportunities for Northern BC women.
For those looking to start or grow their business, this event is a great opportunity to connect with a room of passionate supporters, fellow entrepreneurs, and local business support organizations.
“We’re excited to reconnect with past WeBC clients and partners at this event, while welcoming anyone curious about entrepreneurship support. The City of Prince George has always championed local businesses, especially women entrepreneurs. I’m thrilled to return home to celebrate the incredible legacy of women lifting each other up to grow their businesses,” said Shauna Harper, CEO of WeBC and former Prince George entrepreneur.
