Tourism Prince George has unveiled a new initiative, “PG Sip and Savour,” aimed at driving more visitors to participating local restaurants and cafes. From January 13 to February 16, both locals and tourists are invited to indulge in the diverse culinary scene that Prince George has to offer. PG Sip and Savour conveniently aligns with upcoming events such as the BC Natural Resource Forum, Kiwanis Ale Fest and Coldsnap – the Prince George winter music festival.
Each offering includes a unique drink and food deal throughout the event period. Visitors and locals can access these exclusive promotions through a convenient digital passport, showcasing the variety of options available. This interactive tool makes exploring the culinary scene easier and more engaging.
“Pairing this campaign around other city events creates a synergy that helps drive participation and enthusiasm. It also creates unique opportunities to experience Prince George’s bustling arts, culture and food scene,” said Colin Carson, CEO of Tourism Prince George. “PG Sip and Savour aims to get people out to enjoy a fun dining experience and try something new.”
Current participating establishments include Lobby Coffee, Betulla Burning, Winston’s Resto-Bar, Shogun Japanese Steakhouse, RiverHouse at Northern Lights Winery, The Open Door Café, Nancy O’s, Daydream Donuts, Crossroads Brewing & Distillery, and Zoe’s Java House. Discover delicious and unique pairings like Arancini and a glass of Nova Frizzante, Forest Pizza and Merlot, Beers and Crème Brulee, or a Cardamom & Tomato Ruby Curry with a bevie.
