Her proven expertise in conflict resolution, coaching, and operational safety positions her as an effective and trusted leader for PGAA during this transition period.

“When (Gordon) Duke advised the board of directors of his intent to retire at the end of 2024, the board was in agreement that Ms. Angus possessed the necessary skills, abilities and leadership qualities to lead the internal team while the board undertook the rigorous process of securing the new CEO,” said Derek Dougherty, board chair. “We thank Mr. Duke for his years of service to the board of directors, airport community, tenants, travellers, and many other stakeholders he worked alongside to enhance our profile.”

“I am honoured to take on the role of interim president and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority,” Sabrina Angus. “This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our dedicated team, airport partners, and the broader community to build on the strong foundation established by Mr. Duke and the Board. I look forward to supporting our collective success and am committed to ensuring a smooth transition while continuing to support the organization’s goals and priorities.”
