Get ready for an action-packed, family-friendly weekend of wrestling as Primetime Wrestling brings two thrilling events to the Prince George Civic Centre on January 24 and 25. These shows will feature incredible matchups, including a highly anticipated rematch between local favorite Wes Barker, “The Prospector,” and the fierce Barlow Creek Butcher, as well as a Northwestern Title match between the reigning champion “The Aviator” Sean Gaston and up-and-coming athlete John Gillespie.
Primetime Wrestling has announced the events will serve as fundraisers for the Prince George Navy League Cadets, supporting their programs and helping young local cadets build leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills. This continues Primetime Wrestling’s commitment to giving back to the community through exciting wrestling entertainment.
“After the tremendous success of our November events, where we raised $1,000 for the Crisis Prevention, Intervention & Information Centre, we are thrilled to keep the momentum going by supporting the Prince George Navy League Cadets,” said Primetime President Davy Greenlees. “Our fans can expect thrilling matches, unforgettable twists and turns, and the chance to support another amazing cause.”
In addition to these exciting matchups, Primetime Wrestling continues to be a leader in community engagement. To date, the promotion has raised over $28,000 for local charities and community initiatives, including partnering with Superstore to host two food drives delivering six truckloads of food to St. Vincent de Paul Society, assisting with the annual car wash and BBQ supporting Hospice House, selling Hospice Dream House raffle tickets, and supporting the inaugural “Cornhole Palooza,” which raised funds for Prince George Intersect.
