A community energy conversation for Prince George is set for Tuesday, January 14.
The conversation is being facilitated by the Northern Energy Dialogues Research Team – a collaboration between the University of Northern British Columbia and the University of Victoria with funding from the Accelerating Community Energy Transformation Initiative.
The conversation will identify energy priorities, barriers, and potential energy transformation pathways for the Prince George community. The conversation will inform the development of regional energy workshops to be held in the winter and spring of 2025.
It will be held Tuesday, January 14, at UNBC in Building 5, Room 154, from 6:30-8 p.m. Everyone from the community may participate in this free event.
This is one of a series of community conversations happening across the north. Contact Sarah Korn, Community Coordinator sarah.korn@alumni.unbc.ca if you would like to have an energy conversation in your community.
The Energy Transition Group was formed by individuals from the University of Northern BC (UNBC) and the Prince George Electric Vehicle Association (PG EVA) to encourage informative discussions with guest experts to reveal many of the neat, interesting, intertwined and complicated issues which are occurring with the ongoing energy transition.
