Four years after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted operations, the Prince George Public Library is resuming Sunday openings at Bob Harkins Branch.
The branch will be open to the public on Sundays beginning this weekend – November 3. The new Sunday hours will be noon to 4 p.m.
“Prince George Public Library is committed to increasing access to library services,” said said Library Director Paul Burry. “It’s important that everyone in our community is able to fully enjoy and benefit from what the library has to offer. By opening on Sunday, Bob Harkins Branch will now be available to the community seven days a week.”
The Prince George Public Library has served the City of Prince George and surrounding areas since 1955, with its current Bob Harkins Branch location opening in downtown Prince George in 1981.
