School trips return for the fall in Prince George

BC Transit and the City of Prince George have announced a seasonal service change, effective September 1, 2024.

To reflect an increase in demand, school trips on Route 15 UNBC/Downtown and 55 Victoria will resume. These trips are denoted by the “U” and “F” trip notes in the Rider’s Guide.

School trips for students in K – 12 schools will also resume. This includes the following routes:

  • 12 Parkridge
  • 96 Shas Ti Kelly Road
  • 97 Shas Ti Kelly Road

Minor route adjustments are being made to Route 96 Shas Ti Kelly Road/Spruceland.

As part of this service change, Route 105 Downtown Express/Pine Centre Express will be discontinued due to a lack of demand. Riders will instead take Route 88 Westgate or Route 89 Hart. Service will be increased on these routes during peak times to help address any crowding issues.

Late-night service is being offered on Route 15 Downtown/UNBC in the form of 15N Downtown via CNC/UNBC. This will provide a direct connection to CNC when no other route is operating.

BC Transit encourages customers to use the Umo app, Transit App, Google Transit or any other app of their choice for real-time bus tracking and planning your next transit journey.
