City ending emergency response to heat warning at end of day

At 11:59 p.m. on July 10, the City of Prince George is concluding its emergency response to high temperatures as Environment Canada has officially ended its heat warning for the Prince George area.

Weather forecasts indicate that daily temperatures are expected to remain below 29 degrees Celsius, with overnight temperatures forecasted to be below 14 degrees Celsius. The City continually monitors for extreme weather and is prepared to reopen services as may be necessary.

While the heat warning has ended, residents are encouraged to stay informed about weather conditions and to take necessary precautions during periods of high temperatures.
