The BC Wildfire Service currently responding to the Little Oliver Creek wildfire (R50752) near Terrace. The wildfire is estimated to be 70 hectares in size and is classified as Out of Control. The fire is displaying Rank 2 and 3 fire behaviour, meaning there is visible flame and it is exhibiting a moderate rate of spread.
Firefighters and heavy equipment are onsite and a helicopter will be supporting response efforts.
This wildfire is highly visible to Terrace, motorists along Highway 16 and surrounding areas.
