New this year is ‘challenge a champion’ with the Prince George Chess Club!”

Opening ceremonies at the bandshell start at noon with an opening from Lheidli T’enneh First Nation Elder Edith Frederick and a cake cutting to recognize Canada’s 157th anniversary at 12:30 p.m. The marketplace, food pavilion, and kids zone open at 11 a.m. Despite recent rainfall, the City is not hosting fireworks this year due to the current BC Wildfire burning restrictions.
