
Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond will expand her responsibilities to include the role of critic for Mental Health, Addiction, and Recovery while continuing her duties as Shadow Minister for Health, Seniors Services, and Long-Term Care.
“It has been eight years since the overdose crisis was declared a public health emergency here in B.C. yet we have continuously seen the NDP government fail to act with the urgency that this crisis, which has cost the lives of more than 14,500 British Columbians so far, demands,” said Bond. “I am committed to holding the government accountable and ensuring that British Columbians receive the life-saving services they need.”
