Earlier in the year the Prince George Community Foundation and the Rotary Club of Prince George announced that the Prince George BMX Supertrak was the recipient of a one-time grant in the amount $76,513.17 to help rebuild their track.
The Foundation and Rotary have now topped up the funding to $100,000.00! The additional funds will ensure that the entire rebuild will be completed this year. The rebuild will elevate the calibre of training for athletes and open doors to hosting larger and more prestigious competitions in Prince George.
This original grant represented all funds remaining from the proposed mega park project, including the 50/50 proceeds from the PG Cougar’s Mega 50/50 jackpot. We want to extend our appreciation to all our donors and community members who contributed to the proposed initiative.
