Salmon restoration dialogue session set for May 7 at House of Ancestors

The University of British Columbia Institute for Oceans and Fisheries will conduct 14 Community Salmon Dialogues across B.C. seeking input from all community members about the future of Pacific salmon.

The Community Salmon Dialogue meetings welcome anyone who is concerned about the future of Pacific salmon and would like to share their knowledge and listen to others. All meetings will be audio-recorded to enable meeting summaries and ensure accuracy of key points. All meeting summaries will be openly available via UBC/IOF web page after the meetings are concluded. Based on these summaries UBC will provide a final report to governments, media, and participants in March 2025.

Please join them in Prince George on May 7 from 9 a.m. to noon at House of Ancestors, Central Hall (355 Vancouver Street) to share your views/knowledge on Salmon restoration.
