Prince George RCMP has one man in custody after he threatened multiple people with a weapon at Pine Centre Mall.
“The call came in to police at 2:54 p.m. and within six minutes police officers, including members of the Police Dog Services team, had the man in custody,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP. “This is another great example of our officers’ dedication to public safety, to deliver such a well-coordinated response resulting in a swift arrest.”
The 38-year-old man, who is not a Prince George resident, was taken into police custody and will remain there until he can attend a bail hearing. No injuries were reported in this incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
