Police looking to identify suspect by unique tattoo

Prince George RCMP are looking to the public for help in identifying a robbery suspect by their unique tattoo. On April 2, 2024, shortly after 4 p.m., a gas station on the 1800-block of 20th Avenue was robbed for the cash inside the till.

“The suspect was wearing their hood tied closely around their face and is not easily identifiable; however, they have a unique tattoo covering most of their right hand,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP. “We are releasing a close up photo of the suspect’s hand, as well as video surveillance showing the robbery, in the hopes that someone will recognize the suspect and speak with investigators.”

The suspect is described as:

  • Between 5’4 and 5’8 tall
  • Appeared to be around 18-19 years old
  • Wearing a white hoody, dark pants and black hat
  • Tattoo on right hand

The sole employee at the store was not injured during the robbery.
