Northern Health has become aware of a group of people in Prince George going door-to-door pretending to be NH fire safety staff, offering free FireSmart home inspections.These solicitations are not part of current NH programming.
If you, or someone you know, is approached by this group you should refuse any service offered, avoid offering any personal information (job status, working hours, number of residents in the home, phone numbers, etc.), and close your door.
You are advised to call the local RCMP to report any suspicions behavior witnessed or experienced.
