Apply now for the spring intake myPG Community Grant

Applications are now being accepted for the spring intake of the City of Prince George myPG Community Grant.

The myPG Community Grant seeks to assist not for profit organizations in implementing new or enhancing current projects that align with the city’s goals of increasing community pride, encouraging health and wellness, fostering social connections, promoting arts and culture, and ensuring equity and inclusion.

Applications for the myPG Community Grant are accepted twice per year, with the upcoming intake deadline on March 15 at 4:30 pm..

Eligible projects can be large or small and grants typically range from $2500 to $8000. Applications are evaluated based on alignment with the grant criteria, value for investment (i.e., budget details) and other considerations including Councils interest in financially supporting a variety of organizations and initiatives.

Some expenses are ineligible, and the myPG Community Grant will not fund for-profit businesses, ongoing operational expenses, research, or professional development.

The myPG Community grants are just one of many ways the City of Prince George invests in supporting non-profit groups through its third party service delivery model.

As part of ongoing improvements to grants, the City is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Foundant, a Grant Lifecycle Manager software that simplifies the grant application process for not-for-profit organizations. Foundant will officially launch for the myPG Fall intake in 2024. More detail on this launch will be announced in the next few months.

More information about the myPG Community Grant, including how to apply and eligibility requirements, can be found on the city website.
