In Alberta, fans know him as the ‘God of Thunder,’ in Mexico he reigned as ‘El Lobo Blanco’ but regardless of what moniker he is announced as, Edmonton’s Andy Anderson is sure to wreak havoc upon arrival in Prince George on February 16 at the Civic Centre.
Anderson started his career in Winnipeg, but was soon jet-setting around the globe, appearing in seven countries and capturing 24 championships along the way. Among the foes that he has opposed in the ring include WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Jeff Hardy, and the Big Show. He even once had a backstage altercation at Monday Night RAW with the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin.
In addition to appearing on television for the WWE, WCW, and Philadelphia-based Ring of Honor (now a subsidiary of All Elite Wrestling), he has toured Japan, England, the US and Canada. His greatest success came in Puerto Rico where he was a multi-time champion in solo and tag team competition.
His upcoming appearance in Prince George marks his first foray into northern British Columbia, and while his opponent has yet to be announced, he has an uncanny track record of leaving a trail of carnage in his wake. What could that mean for the competition in Prince George? We’re waiting to hear the official announcement.
Also announced for the upcoming dates is the return of professional wrestling’s “mighty midgets” for the first time in more than 40 years. Plus, The Mauler, Prospector Wes Barker, and many more.
Advance tickets are available at Scrapbook Zone. More information about the event and the wrestlers scheduled to appear can be found online on Facebook or Instagram
