Provincial ringette zone tournament set for Prince George

The BC Provincial Zones Ringette Tournament is coming to Prince George.

March 1-3, athletes from across the province will be coming to the Kin Centers to compete for the Ringette Zone Provincial championship. Zone teams in the U14 and U16 Divisions are female only, U19 and Open Divisions are Coed and are competing at the highest level of Ringette in BC.

Prince George Ringette Association has teams competing in U14, U16, U19 and Open A Divisions.  Games start Friday March 1 at 9 a.m. There will be a skills competition on Friday,  and games from 9am to 9pm. Saturday games will be scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the championship games are Sunday. Games will be occurring at all three Kin Centers and the Elkscentre.

There are about 270 zone players attending and 60 players in the 18+ open category. For the complete schedule, check out the PGRA Facebook page.  Come and cheer on our local players. There is no fee for admission.
