Primetime Wrestling’s little secret

Wrestling fans in northern B.C. are both in shock and awe as they find out a “little secret” that the management of Primetime Wrestling has finally shared about their upcoming event that spans two nights on February 16 and 17.

Last week the organization, that donates much of their event proceeds to local Prince George charities, announced a big move to hosting their events for the 2024 season at the Prince George Civic Centre, a sizable venue upgrade for them

This week they have shared their little secret:  The return of professional wrestling’s short-statured dynamos, (formerly recognized as the “mighty midgets”) for the first time in Prince George in more than 40 years. The four-foot, two-inch, world-travelled attraction Short Sleeve Sampson will be making his way to Prince George from Syracuse, New York to wrestle on the debut events hosted at the Civic Centre.

Sampson has made multiple television appearances for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) between 2003 and 2014, and has worked with such recognized superstars as John Cena, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker and Triple H. In recent years, he has been a headline attraction across North America for the New York-based Midget Wrestling Warriors circuit.

“Thanks to the support of our amazing sponsors, and all the wrestling fans, we are over the moon excited to be able to bring such an amazing talent to our upcoming event”  states Primetime CEO Davy Greenlees “Sampson has wrestled in many iconic matches over the years and those in attendance will be treated to something equally as special.”

Advance tickets for the event will be announced soon. More information about the event and the wrestlers appearing can be found on Primetime’s social media channels.
