
Cameron, Charity and Gary West are walking along Highway 16, the Highway of Tears, to raise awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples. They recently completed a trek from Prince George to the east coast of Canada and are now in the last stretch of their journey from Prince Rupert to Prince George.
The rough timeline for the rest of their walk is:
- November 1- Rest Day- Walk to Babine Forest Products (from Burns Lake)
- November 2- Burns Lake- 50 Kms (Halfway to Fort Fraser)
- November 3- 50 kms Halfway Past Burns Lake to Fraser Lake
- November 4- Fraser Lake to Vanderhoof (58 kms)
- November 5- Vanderhoof to Bednesti
- November 6- Bednesti to Prince George
