Prince George RCMP are currently investigating a suspicious event that occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. today, October 11, at College Heights Secondary School, located at 6180 Domano Boulevard.
Two witnesses reported to police officers they witnessed a teenage girl get dropped off at the school by a black pickup truck during the lunch hour. They did not recognize the youth as a student at College Heights Secondary.
A short time later, a silver sedan with a man and woman inside came and stopped near the girl. The witnesses state the girl began to walk away before she was approached by the man and guided into to the waiting vehicle.
“The man and woman identified themselves to the witnesses as the girl’s parents, but the witnesses still felt it warranted a call to the police. We are now looking to speak with anyone who can identify the owners of either vehicle or the youth involved in this file, so we can check on her well-being,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
If anyone can identify the vehicle or the girl in the surveillance photos provided, they can call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with an investigator. Please quote file number 2023-35602.
