Williams Lake RCMP is currently investigating a suspicious death which occurred in the early hours of September 16, 2023.
Just before 4:30 a.m., Williams Lake RCMP responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Second Avenue in Williams Lake for a disturbance. Upon attendance, officers located a deceased man. Initial evidence gathered at the scene indicated criminality was involved and police are treating the incident as suspicious.
While the investigation is still in its infancy, Williams RCMP is being supported by the North District RCMP Major Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Section and are still collecting evidence at the scene.
