Canucks alumni here for flag raising at City Hall ahead of Commonwealth Cup

On Monday, July 17 at 9:30 a.m., a special Vancouver Canucks Alumni flag raising ceremony will take place at City Hall, followed by the highly anticipated Commonwealth Cup golf tournament at Aberdeen Glen Golf Course.

Net proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Home Hospice.

Canucks alumni Dennis Kearns, Eddie Hatoum, Gary Monahan, Ron Petrovicky and Richard Brodeur will be on hand for the flag raising. Following the flag raising ceremony, the Commonwealth Cup Golf Tournament will kick off at the picturesque Aberdeen Glen Golf Course on July 18. Golf enthusiasts and participants from all skill levels are invited to join this exciting tournament. The tournament will not only provide a fantastic opportunity for friendly competition and networking but will also support a noble cause.

The tournament will feature various contests, prizes, and a celebratory award ceremony to
recognize outstanding performances.
