Free summer kids programming returns to Prince George

Engage Sport North presents Park Play Days – free activities and sport programming for kids on weekdays throughout the summer

Park Play Days are back in Prince George. From now until the beginning of September, Engage Sport North is offering free programming on weekdays from 9 a.m. until noon at parks throughout the community for children 2 – 12 years old. 

Trained program leaders will lead physical literacy games and activities designed to help children enjoy being physically active while developing important fundamental movement skills.

Each day is different, children will be introduced to a variety of sports and sports skills while playing outside with their peers in a safe and fun environment. Children aged six years old and older may be dropped off with the leaders for up to three hours. Children five and under need to be accompanied by an adult.

Wednesdays PGSS Lower Field (Beside Masich Place Stadium)
Thursdays Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park (Bandshell)
Fridays Corporal Darren Fitzpatrick Bravery Park
