Uride, a local rideshare service, has announced its continued commitment to giving back to the
community through their ongoing Good Deeds program.
This June, the Ride for a Reason initiative spotlights local children’s soccer organizations, with Prince
George Youth Soccer scoring the goal as this month’s chosen beneficiary. Ten per cent of all Uride fares for the day will be donated to a local charity in each of the communities they operate in.
“The goal of our Good Deeds Program is to strengthen the communities we serve,” said Cody Ruberto,
founder and CEO of Uride. “By supporting Children’s Soccer Organizations this month, we’re helping
empower young athletes and fostering a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship that extends beyond the
soccer field.”
Uride’s focus on smaller markets truly reflects their commitment to the communities they serve. Their
Good Deeds Program, and notably the Ride for a Reason initiative, serve as strong pillars of support for
local causes and organizations.
“We encourage everyone in Prince George to take a Uride on Monday, June 19, to help us drive change,” said Ruberto. “Together we can team up to create a winning environment for the youth.”
