The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is providing $33,600 in grants to seven different regional cultural organizations to support various initiatives through the Arts, Culture and Heritage grant.
- $5,000 to the Downtown Business Improvement Association for Winterfest
- $5,000 to the Mackenzie Community Arts Council for an outdoor pop-up art exhibit
- $3,600 to the Mackenzie Outdoor Route and Trail Association for entertainment and showcase at the Morfee Lake Scramble
- $5,000 to the Prince George Folkfest Society for the Dak’et, Shun Inli (Music in the Fall) Indigenous music festival
- $5,000 to the Prince George Symphony Orchestra for enhanced measures for the 2023 Pops in the Park event
- $5,000 to Theatre Northwest to support ASL interpretation for the 2023/24 Mainstage Season
- $5,000 to Wishbone Theatre to support the production of “Showdown – A Western Musical”
