Polar Coachmen Flyfishers holding open house May 25

Have you always been curious about fly fishing? Do you want to learn from some of the most talented anglers in northern B.C.? Do you want to learn more about local lakes and rivers?

Then join the Polar Coachman Flyfishers Club at their open house on Thursday, May 25, at 1384 River Road from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Information and demonstrations will be available on casting, fly-tying, knot-tying, gear and equipment, etc.

Meet Danie Erasmus – regular contributing writer to BC Outdoors. Plus get a signed copy of his book Hatches of British Columbia Trout Streams. Meet representatives from Angler’s Atlas – based out of Prince George. Plus other local community fishing groups and community organizations.

Representatives and exhibitors include:

  • Department of Fisheries & Oceans
  • Anglers Atlas
  • Spruce City Wildlife Association
  • Corlane’s
  • Writer and instructor Danie Erasmus
  • And club members who will offer information and demonstrations on fly-tying, casting, knot-tying, etc.
