The body of man who was reported missing March 15 has been found northeast of the city.
James (Jimmy) Archibald Webb was located deceased on April 19, 2023 in a rural location approximately 80 kilometres northeast of Prince George.
“Police are investigating his death as a homicide and have determined this was a targeted event, with links to the drug trade in Prince George,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP. “Our Serious Crime Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and is looking to speak with anyone who saw Mr. Webb in the days before he went missing or who may know who he was in contact with before his disappearance.”
This investigation remains ongoing.
“Prince George RCMP wants to recognize the staff and volunteers of Prince George Search and Rescue, who assisted our investigators with the recovery of Mr. Webb,” said Cooper. “The equipment and expertise they lent to this situation was invaluable.”
