On April 24, at around 5:30 p.m., crews from three firehalls responded to a report of a structure fire on the 1600-block of the Old Cariboo Highway.
On arrival, crews found smoke billowing from the front door of the residence Crews quickly extinguished the fire. No injuries were sustained to the public or to fire personnel.
Damage to the structure is estimated at $200,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
