Carlin Dezainde started the scoring with a hard-working effort in front of the net at 11:40 to give PG the lead. The Chiefs responded on the power-play when Berkly Catton threw the puck off the back of Ty Young and in to tie the game at 19:00.

In the third, the Cougars came out flying. A power-play goal from captain Ethan Samson tied the game at 2:46 and then Chase Wheatcroft wired his 41st of the year shortly after at 5:11. Spokane didn’t go away, however, as Berkly Catton came streaking up the middle and beat Ty Young to tie the game at 6:44. The game remained tied after 60 minutes.

It took just 28 seconds into overtime for Spokane to win the game as a Chase Bertholet bullet beat Young to give the Chiefs a 5-4 victory.
