
UPDATE: Policy say Turyk has been found and is OK.
Prince George RCMP is asking the public to keep a watch out for 52-year-old Matthew Michael Turyk. Family last saw Matthew in the evening on January 27, 2023 and he has not been seen or heard from since.
Matthew is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 168 cm (5’6”)
- 70 kg (154lbs)
- Hazel eyes
- Sandy hair
- Driving a black 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with black canopy
- B.C. license plate 4002 KE
- Truck says AMJ Installations on the windows
Michael was last seen leaving his residence on Friday, January 27, 2023 around 9:20 p.m. in his black 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. He has not contacted any of his family or friends since that time.
“His family states Michael has a hunting and fishing spot near West Lake that he sometimes frequents, but they do not know exactly where the location is,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP. Michael’s family is very concerned for his well-being as it is out of character for him to not check in with them on a regular basis.”
