Coming up in the next Community Arts Council feature gallery show is Wings, Wheels and Whimsy!, a showcase of watercolour antique cars, birds of the feather and sprinkling of carefree happy art pieces that will bring a smile to your face.
Lynda Anderson has been a part of many great community art projects, was a long time artist workshop guild member, and has one of her large murals on the side of the Studio 2880 building near the gift shop entrance door. After retiring from years of public service as a nurse she pursued her passion for painting. Lynda is a talented ink and watercolour artist and we are honoured to have her in the feature gallery.
The exhibit runs from December 14 through to January 17 during regular gift shop/gallery hours. This show is set up as a casual walk in and enjoy the visuals. Explore Lynda’s art, reminisce the old autos, see the birds personalities shine and uplift your day with the magic her art brings.
Art pieces can be purchased and taken home right away if you are looking for a special gift for the holidays.
